POLICIES / RULES
We endeavour to provide a Professional friendly, non-intimidating environment that makes members feel welcome and respected. All members are expected to adhere to all gym rules.
CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP
All members and their guests will be courteous and respectful to all other members and staff. All members are expected to behave in a friendly and non-aggressive manner.
All members and their guests must check in at the front reception immediately when entering and present their membership card before proceeding to any other area of the club.
This Gym is a DRUG FREE environment. No people under the influence of any drugs, including steroids, amphetamines, cannabis, alcohol or any non-prescribed drugs will be allowed in this facility. If you are taking prescribed medication please inform our Fitness Trainers.
It is recommended to seek professional advice and medical clearance before commencing an exercise program or food plan.
All members are regarded as equal regardless of duration of membership, athletic ability, shape, size, social status, or their relationship to the staff or management.
Dress Code
SHIRTS - Men must wear a T-shirt at all times. No singlets or sleeveless shirts allowed. Your armpits must be covered.
SHOES must be worn in the gym at all times.
NO Sandals, Thongs, Work Boots or 'Slip-ons'.
TOWELS must be brought and used whilst in the gym:
NO TOWEL - NO WORKOUT
Members and their guests must be dressed in clean, non-offensive clothing.
No work clothes permitted.
General Conduct
CHEWING GUM is not permitted in this building.
You may only bring bottled water or sports drinks into the gym training area.
A degree of HYGIENE is demanded, so if necessary you are welcome to use the
showers before your workout. Please share and rest OFF the machines so as to allow others the use of the equipment. Trainer appointment cancellations require 24hrs notice, otherwise a no-show fee of
$15.00 will be charged. Only members and their guests are permitted in the center. No other people shall enter or loiter in any part of the center without staff approval. Loud, abusive language and swearing or moaning is not permitted. Solicitation of any product or service of any other business is strictly prohibited.
Safety and Other Limitations
We respect you and your property, so please respect us and ours. PLEASE DON’T DROP THE WEIGHTS! Please see your Trainer regarding safety techniques. Staff may use discretionary power to restrict any member from training, if we feel that the member is causing him/her self any harm. In doing so, Bodyworks Life is upholding its duty of care policy. Unless authorised by management, all members are restricted to 2 hours of exercise per day at this facility.
All weights must be put back onto the appropriate racks immediately after use. All members and their guests exercise at their own risk. You may only use the equipment that you have been instructed to use in your fitness program or have prior knowledge of. This way your Fitness trainer can properly
assess your results at re-assessment time.
It is the members responsibility to seek instruction of the cardio (or any) equipment from one of our Fitness Trainers before first time usage or if unsure of its operation. No weight plates will be added to machines without prior consent from management.
If you are sick with the Flu or any other infectious disease please stay at home and rest.
Children under 12 years will not be offered membership unless prior approval from management is granted.
