Dear, Staff at Bodyworks Life,

I wanted to thank you sincerely for all the help guidance and support that you have given me. And without it I couldn’t have achieved what I have done. I want you to know how you have made such an impact on my life.

I am 53 years old and a proud mother of three, this is my story. I decided to take an early retirement at the age of 50 due to what I thought was bad health there is a history of heart disease in my family and when I started having symptoms of heart problems, I decided the best thing to do was retire from my job and have less stress and I would be ok.

Several months later and my symptoms became increasingly worse, so I made an appointment to see my doctor. I was convinced it was my heart that was making me experience the symptoms I was having. (Shortness of breath and chest pain) When I went to the doctor to my surprise there wasn’t anything wrong with my heart, naturally I thought he was wrong and he had missed something so I asked to see a specialist. When I finally got to see the specialist he did all kinds of tests and they all come back normal of course it was a huge relief that my heart was healthy, but I wanted to know what was causing the symptoms I was experiencing when I asked the doctor he answered to my horror I was feeling the way I was because I was fat and unfit. You can only imagine the way I felt. I was 20 kilos over weight the doctor told me I had to lose weight and exercise then I would feel a lot better.

I walked out of the surgery very depressed. When I got home I told my husband what the doctor had said. To my husband it was good news all I had to do was join a gym that way ill lose the weight and get fit. Yeah right sounds a lot easier than it is. I wasn’t trying to be difficult but I had tried going to gyms before and to be honest I didn’t like it it just wasn’t for me. A friend of ours attended a gym she had been going to for a while now and seemed to like it.

My husband called them and made an appointment for me. When I got there the staff were really nice and welcoming my appointment lasted about 20 min I was so impressed all my questions were answered. I felt relaxed and comfortable and I really liked the ladies only area what has made all the difference for me this time is the personal service I liked that a professional personal trainer designed a exercise program for me tailored to my needs and goals at my level of fitness so it wasn’t to hard. My trainer also gave me a couple of supervised work outs he showed me how to do all the exercises it makes it so much easier when you know what you are doing. And having re assessments on a regular basis helped me stay on track they even upgrade ed my program as I made progress when my trainer changed my exercise program I was shown how to do the new exercises what wonderful service, with the program I chose I even got to do the group fitness classes at no extra cost for as little as $18 a week I got all this.

I’m not sure what you can buy for $18 a week but I bought a new life. Now I love my body and I can run up a flight of stairs and feel great when I get to the top instead of breathless. I work out 3 times a week and I have lost my 20 kilos and feel GREAT thanks to the friendly staff at bodyworks life.

 

               Who said exercising is only for young people
        I feel younger, stronger and healthier than I have in years.

My weight always held me back

Hi my name is Zoran,
I am a 42 year old man. Iam a husband and loving father to three children. I love doing things with my kids. My favorite things are going for bike rides, swimming in my pool and playing and coaching soccer. There was only one problem with that, my weight it always held me back.

I used to weigh 128kilos and was getting heavier and heavier. My wife was always on my back about losing weight. The time came when I had had enough. I was sick of being restricted to what I could do. I tried lots of diets, some worked for a short time but I always put the weight back on faster than I had lost it. My wife kept telling me to join a gym for a long time but I never thought to try.

One day I was driving home and I saw a sign for Bodyworks life near my house. I decided to ring them up and make an appointment. I was introduced to Gill and she showed me around, I was so impressed with the service and atmosphere I joined on the spot and started the next day. That was around July 2005 Gill asked me what I wanted to achieve.

That answer was easy I just wanted to lose weight and build myself up. I wanted to feel healthy.) So I started going for a few months but I wasn’t losing much because I was working out but not eating correctly. On October the 10, 2005 Gill approached me about the Gaining Slimness program. Gill gave me a book on what foods I should eat and what to avoid. That was the beginning for my way to the top. IN that first week I lost 5kilos and 1-2 kilos after that. I have been very strict with my eating. I got used to being careful with my food. I must admit it was very hard at first but as time went by I accepted the inevitable.


I now work out 4days a week every week and I am happy to say I know weigh 101.5 ive lost 26.5 kilos and 25% body fat. I feel fantastic; I am a happy husband and father. Thanks to Gill and the friendly staff at Bodyworks Life.
